This
is what free-standing kitchens are all about, this dresser is just a
few inches away from the sink unit. The old country kitchens were
very much a case of, today I will move that piece over there and
bring that piece over here. When it comes to moving, you don't have
to buy all the pieces all over again. |
|
This
hanging cupboard started off life as a dresser, these customers
wanted a large hanging cupboard that looked a bit different, so with
the simple addition of a shelf along the bottom you have a
completely free-standing piece of furniture. |
 |
|
 |
This is
the other extreme, this customer wanted everything built in. This
unit was built to fit into the alcove with millimetres to spare.
|
|
These two
units too were constructed from scratch to fit the space given. The
tops on this one have been tiled to great effect. When you want to
change the colour of the kitchen, it is a simple enough task to take
the top off the old one and replace it with a new one. |
 |
|
 |
This top
has also been tiled. This looks great because our customers
have used the same style tiles on the window ledge as the ones on
the top, only a different size and it brings it all together
perfectly. |
|
This is
another great example of free-standing, these two pieces were never
meant to be together but they work brilliantly with just a small
space between them. |
 |
|
 |
This unit
makes use of the whole space in the kitchen. The dishwasher is on
the right behind the door with the false drawer on it.

I hope
our customers forgive us for using this shot, but this is such a
good example of how you can work wonders with what you already have
This before and after shot is barely recognisable as the same room,
what a transformation.
