This is a really good looking little island finished in a lovely Georgian green paint. The top is granite that is honed rather than being highly polished. This side of the island comprises two drawers over a little cupboard with a pull-down bin on the right.

The other side of this island has open shelves for books or other items that you might like to have on display. The shelves are painted in the green and the internal bits are painted cream, it looks great in the flesh.

This block turned out just stunning. Our customer came down and chose it, and it was in an awful state, the top was all knarled and they weren't quite sure that it would ever be what they wanted it to be. So we built the cupboard and the slatted shelves for baskets and hey presto.

This is a classic Hungarian chopping block. It has seen some action, so we are in the process of restoring it at the moment. Well, that looks a lot more kitchen friendly now doesn't it. Its a really good idea if you have not got enough space for a big chopping block.
